World-class automotive fluid systems technology supplier, TI Automotive lately introduced a new manufacturing unit in Monterrey, Mexico. The new manufacturing facility is aimed at producing fluid carrying systems for company’s another new nearby located Hyundai/ Kia facility.
The Monterrey facility, which is a major supplementary site for the company’s global Fluid Carrying Systems (FCS) Division, is spread over an area of 53,000 sqm. ft. This unit may employ nearly 100 people once it becomes fully-functional, expectedly by May 2016. Not only will the Monterrey manufacturing facility produce brake line assemblies, clutch lines with flared tubes, and brake and fuel bundles, but engine line products such as oil and vacuum tubes, gas exhaust reduction (EGR) pipes, transmission lines, and water tubes also.
TI Automotive’s chairman, CEO and president, Bill Kozyra said, “Mexico is a growing automotive market for our customers, and this new facility supports our global growth strategy of going where our customers need us.”
At present, the company runs nine production units in Mexico, which can be found in Mexico City, Reynosa,San Luis Potosi and Puebla.
