SCM Group a leading Italian multinational company in machinery and industrial equipment for the woodworking industry, has taken over USA-based DMS Diversified Machine Systems, which is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
DMS is well known for its capabilities in the design, manufacture, distribution, and service of innovative CNC machinery, which have many applications in plastics and composite materials. This take over will improve SCM Group’s global leadership in these and other sectors. The takeover will complement the broad portfolio already established in these markets via its venerable CMS brand of customized CNC machines.

On completion of the takeover, Patrick Bollar, the founder of DMS and partner, will go on in his strategic role as Chief Technology Officer leading innovation and product development, and Tanya Williams will take up the role of CEO of DMS. Matt Dietrich, CMS North America CEO will direct and support Tanya and Patrick to assure proper alignment of strategy, capture of important synergies, and preservation of the respective technological and geographical strengths of both companies.
