Pregis LLC, a leading manufacturer of innovative protective packaging materials, equipment systems and surface protection, has signed an agreement to takeover Free-Flow Packaging International, Inc. (FP International) which is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.

FP International, founded in 1967, is a well-known brand that includes the MINI PAK’R, PRO PAK’R and POWER PAK’R and many other protective packaging products. FP International has undergone a transformation over the past two decades. The company has changed from a single-product company to a leading provider of protective packaging solutions with multinational operations.

FP, headquartered in Fremont, California, has five manufacturing facilities—two in the United States plus Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Pregis plans to continue manufacturing operations at these locations.
In the past four years, Pregis has taken over six companies under Olympus Partners ownership. FP International is the sixth acquisition in addition to five others that include Rex Performance Products, Sharp Packaging Systems, 3M Company’s PolyMask protective films business, Easypack paper-based protective packaging systems and Eagle Film Extruders.
