Pipeline Plastics USA goes for expansion of its HDPE pipe business by investing in KraussMaffei Berstorff Pipe Extrusion Lines

Pipeline PlasticsPipeline Plastics, LLC, Westlake, Texas (USA) has undertaken the expansion of its HDPE pipe business by investing in KraussMaffei Berstorff pipe extrusion lines. Pipeline Plastics, LLC, has placed orders with KraussMaffei Berstorff for the expansion projects at its sites of HDPE pipeline with additional 1000 mm pipe extrusion lines. The different sites of Pipeline Plastics are located in Levelland, Texas, and Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Pipeline Plastics is one of the leading manufacturers of high-performance pipe systems producing industrial and municipal water supply systems and oil and gas installations up to 40 “. Pipeline Plastics and KraussMaffei Berstorff has inked a contract for complete pipe extrusion lines for HDPE smooth-walled pressure pipes, which is a part of a larger expansion plan. The expansion plan has additional facilities at the Levelland site and a new facility in the southeastern US.

Fisher, founder, and CEO of Pipeline Plastics commented, “We have been working with KraussMaffei Berstorff for a long time and have been able to use their extrusion equipment achieve excellent results. Our plant in Decatur (Texas) is equipped with KraussMaffei Berstorff extrusion lines, which exceeded our expectations in terms of performance and reliability. We expect our Levelland expansion to be operational by the end of the fourth quarter of this year. We expect the completion of the expansion in South Dakota in early 2019.” According to the plans, the new plant on the southeast coast is to commence operation in the third quarter of 2019.
