Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) is celebrating the production of a very innovative new pickup truck to the market, with the start-up of the all-new 2017 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck, slated to go on sale soon at Honda dealerships nationwide. The innovative Ridgeline is setting new benchmarks for versatility, capability and comfort in the midsize pickup segment, with Honda-exclusive features, design, and technology, providing the best combination of performance and reliability.

Honda’s Alabama plant is the exclusive manufacturer of the innovative Ridgeline, which is produced alongside other members of Honda’s award-winning light-truck lineup, including the Pilot sport utility vehicle and Odyssey minivan, as well as the Acura MDX luxury SUV. The Alabama plant is celebrating its 15th year of production.
Since 2013, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama’s (HMA) has embarked on expansion efforts designed to implement the company’s growth strategy. Consequently, it has invested more than $510 million and added 450 jobs in the initiative. The company employs 4,500 associates at its 3.7-million-square-foot Lincoln facility, which has the capacity to produce as many as 340,000 vehicles and engines each year.
