GERHARDI Kunststofftechnik GmbH expands the activities of the company by adding a new plant in the USA in line with its growth strategy. The new plant at Montgomery in Alabama is built after a detailed exercise carried out in making a choice for the site. The location of the plant is based on a number of advantages due to the availability of infrastructure and high connectivity. The new plant will have a production area of approximately 10,000m2 with provision for further expansion. The plant is expected to be built at an investment of US Dollars 38million. GERHARDI Kunststofftechnik GmbH plans to start the construction of the plant at the end of the year 2016 and expects to start production by the end of 2018. With the installation of the new plant, it is expected that 240 new job opportunities will be created in the region.
