Beau Jeu Features Perfect Flight With Polyurethane Use

Perfect flight polyurethaneOn June 10, 2016, the European Soccer Championship is to begin. However, the World Champions and other kickers of Germany had a chance to become familiar with its amazing features sinceNovember 2015. It’s the Beau Jeu, which means “Beautiful Game” in French. It is the Adidas’s UEFA Euro 2016 tournament’s official match ball.

According to the report, these games in France celebrate an anniversary for Adidas and Covestro. It has been three decades since when the two firms are working with each other to develop balls. They have gained immense experience and knowledge by now.

The Beau Jeu comes up with the Brazuca’s best elements. Brazuca is the 2014 Soccer World Cup’s official match ball. However, when it comes to grip and properties in play, Beau Jeu overshadows Brazuca. The Beau Jeu features improved ball control, water resistance, and stable flight.

Covestro’s project manager for ball development, Thomas Michaelis stated, “The ball’s outer shell consists of a total of five layers based on polyurethane raw materials from our Impranil® line. It starts with the outermost skin, a full under glass print that prevents abrasion of the printed layer. ”As per his statement, the white surface on which there are the French national colors i.e. blue, red and white colors is highly durable.

The ball is protected by the fundamental intermediate layer against any external influences. Also, the layer provides it extended elasticity. It has polyurethane foam that has millions of microspheres which guarantee wonderful flight characteristics. The top layers are bonded by a polyurethane adhesive to a particular polyester-cotton fabric which acts as a substrate.

The Adidas Future Arena in St. Denis, i.e. the first digital soccer stadium of the world premiered the Beau Jeu. Computer-animated stands replicated 50,000 spectators over there. Exciting matches are expected from well-trained soccer players, who will be chasing goals with Beau Jeu, which is to go from June 10 to July 10, 2016.
